These wool lined velcro shoes are built for cold, wet pavements: a brushed wool-blend cloth upper over a wool lining, a widened rubber sole with a high-elastic MD midsole and a TPU air cushion under the heel, and a thermal insole shaped to the arch.

A single hook-and-loop strap crosses the instep, and the whole upper opens back to the toe, so the foot goes in without being pushed through a tight opening. That helps with a high instep, a wide forefoot or a foot that swells during the day, and the strap can be set where it feels right.
