Snapfold Knit Walker

Adjustable walking shoes for women who want the upper to open wide before the foot goes in: the hook-and-loop flap unfolds from the instep back toward the toe, so you set the shoe around the foot instead of pushing into it, then press the strap down and the round metal stud holds it. The forefoot is a perforated knit, and the collar is cut low, so air moves over the top of the foot on a warm walk.

The toe is cut round and the last runs wide through the forefoot, which leaves room for toes that have spread or stiffened. Underneath, the insole is built in layers: a microfibre face, a dense sponge layer and a 3 mm ribbed cotton pad, with a memory foam layer printed on the heel area, and it lifts out if you wear your own.

What the shoe is, and what it is not

The upper is a perforated knit; the outsole is moulded in one piece with a shallow tread and a low block heel. The moulded youyun mark on the outsole comes with the shoe as supplied.
