These women’s wool shoes close with one wide hook-and-loop flap across the instep instead of laces, so the opening lifts right back and the foot goes in without a shoehorn. The upper is a wool blend, the insole is memory foam, and the sole is moulded in one piece.

The flap runs the full width of the instep and fastens on a press, so it can be set where the fit feels right over a high instep or a foot that changes through the day. The toe is cut round with room at the front, and the collar sits below the ankle bone.
