Wide Wool Walker

These wide wool walking shoes are cut on a broad toe box, so the front of the foot sits flat instead of being squeezed at the sides. The upper is a 50% wool blend, the lining is textile, and the sole is foam with a rubber granule pad under it.

Wide wool walking shoes with a spring-toggle fit

Instead of laces, a drawcord runs over the instep and locks with a spring toggle, so the opening can be set once and lifted back with one hand. The toe is raised 25 degrees at the front, the heel carries a padded pillow, and the whole shoe bends easily under the ball of the foot.

Upper, insole and outsole

The upper is a wool blend at 50% wool with a soft hand; a woven youyun label sits on the tongue and the waist of the outsole carries a moulded youyun mark, both sewn or moulded in by the supplier. The insole stacks a 5 mm memory foam pad, a 3 mm pad and a brushed microfibre cover, and the gallery shows the full tread face.
