Creekline Water Shoes

Mens water trail shoes for creek beds, wet rock and long afternoons on the bank. The upper is a honeycomb mesh panel set into a moulded TPR frame: the frame holds the shape of the shoe around the heel and along the sides, while the open weave above the toes lets air move over the foot instead of trapping heat. The front closes with a lace through reinforced eyelets, so you can tighten the shoe for a crossing and loosen it on the walk back.

How Mens Water Trail Shoes Are Built

The outsole carries multi-directional lugs that run in different directions across the forefoot, and the rubber wraps up around the heel to protect the back of the shoe when you step over stones. Lugs also climb the sidewall under the arch, so the edge of the sole takes the scuff instead of the mesh. A padded collar sits around the ankle opening, and the tongue is stitched to the upper so grit cannot work its way down the sides of the foot.

Mens Water Trail Shoes Fit and Sizing

Take your usual EU size for a close fit and leave a thumb’s width at the toe. If you plan to wear the shoes with thick outdoor socks or your foot is wide, go one size up. Measure the longer foot and use that number rather than the size printed inside an old pair.

Care

Rinse the mesh and the lugs with clean water after a day on the bank, shake out the grit and let the pair air-dry in the shade. Do not put the shoes in a washing machine or on a radiator: heat softens the TPR frame and the sole keeps its shape best when it dries slowly.
