Size Guide

Last updated: 10 October 2026  ·  Version 1.0

This chart converts the sizes shown in the size selector on our product pages into EU, UK and measured foot length, and explains how to measure your foot so you can choose with confidence.

Length is only half of the fit. Width, instep and toe-box shape decide whether a shoe feels right. See the Fit & Width Guide for how AZEKA widths compare and how to choose for bunions, wide feet or swelling.

1. The short version

Every product page lists its sizes as a pair, for example US 10 / EU 43. The EU number and the US number describe the same shoe — you do not need to convert anything if you already know your EU size.

AZEKA footwear is currently offered in EU 38 to EU 46. Each size is a whole EU size; the only half step in our range appears at EU 39 (shown as US 6.5).

Availability differs by style. EU 40 to EU 44 are carried by every style currently on the site. EU 38, EU 39, EU 45 and EU 46 are carried by part of the range, so the sizes offered on the product page are always the definitive answer for the style you want.

2. Size conversion table

The EU and US columns are the values you will see in the size selector on our product pages. The UK and foot length columns are reference conversions, provided so you can cross-check a size you already know or a measurement you have taken.

EU size US size (as shown on our product pages) UK size (reference) Approximate foot length
EU 38US 6UK 523.8 cm
EU 39US 6.5UK 5.524.5 cm
EU 40US 7UK 625.2 cm
EU 41US 8UK 725.8 cm
EU 42US 9UK 826.5 cm
EU 43US 10UK 927.2 cm
EU 44US 11UK 1027.8 cm
EU 45US 12UK 1128.5 cm
EU 46US 13UK 1229.2 cm

About the US column. Our size selector shows a single US figure for each size. If you normally shop by women’s US sizing, or if a converted UK size disagrees with what you usually wear, order by the EU size and your measured foot length instead — those two columns are the most reliable anchors.

About the UK and foot length columns. These are reference conversions based on common shoe-sizing conventions, not measurements of our lasts. Fit varies between styles, so treat them as a cross-check rather than a guarantee.

3. How to measure your foot

Your shoe size is a derived number; your foot length in centimetres is a fact about your body. If you only do one thing, measure your foot and match the result to the fourth column of the table above.

  1. Measure in the late afternoon or evening. Feet swell through the day, and a size that fits at 8 a.m. can feel tight by 6 p.m.
  2. Stand on a hard, flat floor with your weight on that foot, wearing the socks you intend to wear with the shoes. Sitting or kneeling shortens the measurement.
  3. Mark heel to longest toe. Put a mark on the floor at the back of your heel and another at the tip of your longest toe — for many people this is the second toe, not the big toe. Measure the distance between the marks in centimetres.
  4. Measure both feet and use the larger result. Feet are rarely identical, and a shoe fitted to the longer foot will not hurt the shorter one. If you also have a wide or high-instep foot, measure around the widest part as well and allow for it when you compare sizes.

Allow a little room. The foot-length column is the size of your foot, not of the inside of the shoe. A practical fit leaves roughly 1 cm between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. If your measurement lands between two rows, that usually means you should try the larger size.

4. Fit tips

These points describe how our footwear is built and how to get on with it comfortably. They are not medical advice.

  • Our styles are built on generous lasts. Many are shaped with a roomy toe box, which gives the toes space to spread rather than squeezing them together. Where a style is described as having extra room, you will read it on that product page.
  • If you are between two sizes, or your feet are wider than average, we normally suggest taking the larger size.
  • Take the fastening into account. Styles with laces, buckles or hook-and-loop straps can be opened fully, which makes them easier to get on and off and lets you adjust the hold across the instep. This matters most if bending down to dress is difficult for you.
  • If you wear your own insoles or orthotics, bring them with you when you try the shoes on indoors, so you judge the fit as you will actually wear them. Check the details stated on the product page before ordering.
  • Walk on a clean, soft surface indoors. Trying shoes on at home to check the fit is completely normal, and it does not affect your right to return them.
  • Give new shoes a few short wears. If a new pair feels firm rather than tight, a few short indoor wears will usually tell you more than a single try-on does.

If your feet have specific needs, measure and ask rather than guess. Conditions such as bunions, flat feet, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, hammer toes, neuropathy, circulatory problems or diabetes change what a good fit means for you, and they are not something a size chart can judge. Please consult your podiatrist or doctor before choosing footwear, follow their guidance on sizing, and compare it against the details stated on the product page. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you have read on our site.

5. If you cannot find your size

  • The size you want is not offered on a style. Sizes are stocked per style, so a size missing from one product may well be available on another. Browse the same category, or contact us and tell us the style and size — we can confirm what is due back.
  • You are unsure between two sizes. Order both, try them on indoors on a clean, soft surface, and return the pair that does not fit. Returns within 30 days are accepted, and return postage is covered by us; see our Return Policy.
  • You need help choosing. Our FAQ covers sizing and fit questions, and Customer Service collects every support page in one place.
  • You have already ordered. Use Track Your Order to see where your parcel is.
