Both straps lift clear of the tongue, so the mouth of the shoe opens wide and the foot goes in without rubbing. Press them back down and the fit holds through the afternoon, when feet tend to swell. The collar is padded where it meets the ankle and the toe is cut round.

Mesh Upper, Moulded Synthetic Sole

The supplier lists a mesh upper over a mesh lining with a moulded synthetic (plastic-rubber class) outsole, a round toe and a low 1-3 cm heel. Wipe the mesh with a damp cloth and let the pair air-dry away from direct heat; no waterproofing claim is made for an open mesh.
