Work footwear spends eight-plus hours on concrete, often wet, often heavy. Comfort on a long shift is not a luxury — it is what keeps you moving.
Our work shoes and boots are selected for demanding floors: slip-resistant outsoles, cushioned insoles, and uppers that resist water and wear.
Grip on a wet floor comes from the tread pattern and the rubber compound together. Deeper, wider-spaced lugs work on rough and wet ground; finer patterns feel better on smooth indoor floors where the risk is oil or polish rather than water. Ask for the outsole description on the product page — it is the honest answer to whether a shoe suits your floor.
Concrete does not give, so all of the day's impact arrives through the foot and the lower back. A cushioned insole under the heel and a footbed that spreads load across the forefoot are what reduce fatigue over a shift. This is the same reason our walking range exists; the difference here is a more protected upper and a tougher outsole.
Clean grit out of the treads after each shift — trapped stones cut through the rubber far faster than wear does. Let wet leather dry at room temperature rather than by a heater, and re-apply a water-repellent finish every few months. A pair that is brushed, dried and reproofed on a routine lasts far longer than the same pair left alone.
No. These are comfort work shoes, not certified safety footwear. If your workplace requires protective footwear, use certified safety boots.
Most styles are water-resistant. Product pages state which have a waterproof membrane.
Work shoes often run generous through the forefoot by design, so most people take their normal size. Check each product page, and see the Fit & Width Guide if you are between sizes.
If the pain is persistent, getting worse, or you have reduced sensation in your feet, please see a podiatrist or your doctor. Footwear is one part of everyday foot comfort — it is not a treatment.
