أحذية تنزه

A trail does not care how a shoe looks. It tests grip on loose ground, support on descents, and whether your feet are still comfortable at the last kilometre.

Our hiking shoes are selected for real terrain: outsoles that bite into mud and rock, midsoles that cushion uneven ground, and uppers that keep water out while letting heat escape.

Grip: what the outsole actually does

Lug depth decides how much the shoe bites into loose ground, and the rubber compound decides whether it holds on wet rock. Deep, widely spaced lugs shed mud and grip soft ground; shallow, closely spaced lugs feel better on hardpack but slick in rain. Ask for the outsole description on each product page — it is the single most useful line when choosing a trail shoe.

Support on uneven ground

On descents the load lands on the forefoot, so the midsole needs to resist twisting rather than flex freely. A stiff midfoot, a heel counter that holds the back of the foot, and a footbed that keeps the arch from collapsing all contribute. Boots and higher collars add ankle support but slow you on flat ground — match the height to the terrain.

Water-resistant vs waterproof

Water-resistant means the upper sheds light rain and damp; waterproof means a sealed membrane that also blocks mud and deeper water, at the cost of breathability and a little weight. They are not the same thing. For a day hike on a maintained path, water-resistant is usually enough; for river crossings or sustained rain, choose the waterproof model and expect more sweat inside.

Are they waterproof?

Most styles are water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. Product pages say which is which — if you expect river crossings or sustained rain, choose a waterproof model. If your walking is mostly on pavement and hardpack rather than loose trail, our أحذية مشي use a calmer, lighter outsole.

Do they need breaking in?

A short wearing-in period of a few outings is normal for leather uppers. If a pair still rubs after that, the fit is probably wrong — exchange it.

Can I use them on pavement?

Yes. Aggressive lug outsoles wear faster on concrete but work fine for the walk to the trailhead.

If the pain is persistent, getting worse, or you have reduced sensation in your feet, please see a podiatrist or your doctor. Footwear is one part of everyday foot comfort — it is not a treatment.
