Most shoes are designed to look sharp for a season. The ones you actually live in have to do more — fit the foot as it is, and stay comfortable from the first step to the last.
Our casual shoes are selected for everyday wear: uppers that do not need breaking in, insoles that cushion hard floors, and soles that grip without weighing the shoe down. From leather to knit mesh, every pair is designed to be the shoe you reach for by default.
Four things decide whether a shoe works from the first step to the last: an upper soft enough not to need breaking in, an insole that cushions hard floors, a weight you stop noticing, and an outsole that grips without dragging. Most shoes are designed for the first two hours; these are chosen for the eighth.
Leather moulds to the foot over time and cleans easily, but it breathes less. Suede is softer from day one and needs more protection in wet weather. Knit mesh is the lightest and most breathable option, though it holds its shape less. None of them is automatically better — it depends on the season, how far you walk, and how much care you want to give the shoe.
Measure both feet in the evening, when they are at their largest, and fit the bigger one — most people are at least half a size apart. If you are between sizes, go up rather than down. Our دليل الملاءمة والعرض explains how width, not just length, decides whether a shoe feels right.
Most styles follow standard sizing. If you are between sizes, or your feet swell during the day, size up and check the size guide on each product page.
Check the lining on the product page. Unlined leather styles are best worn with socks; knit-lined styles are usually fine either way.
Leather: a damp cloth and a nourishing cream. Mesh and knit: hand wash with mild soap and air dry away from direct heat.
If the pain is persistent, getting worse, or you have reduced sensation in your feet, please see a podiatrist or your doctor. Footwear is one part of everyday foot comfort — it is not a treatment.
