Pantofi de alergat

Running repeats the same impact thousands of times. The shoe's job is to absorb what it can, return what it should, and stay out of the way of your natural stride.

Our running shoes cover the everyday run: cushioned rides for easy miles, responsive foam for tempo work, and uppers that breathe when the pace climbs.

Cushioned vs responsive

Cushioned shoes trade ground feel for softness and suit easy, longer runs where fatigue rather than speed is the limit. Responsive foam returns more energy and feels livelier under faster paces, but it is firmer underfoot all day. Most people are best served by a cushioned pair as their default and a responsive pair for the days they want speed.

The right shoe for your distance

Short, frequent runs on road need very little from a shoe beyond comfort and durability. Longer runs add two demands: a midsole that does not bottom out over distance, and an upper that holds the foot without restricting it as it swells. If your running is mostly walking-pace miles, our Pantofi de mers are built for the same job with a calmer ride.

Replace them before they wear out

Midsole foam loses its rebound well before the outsole visibly wears through. When the shoe stops feeling springy underfoot — even though the tread still looks fine — the cushioning is spent. Most everyday running shoes give roughly 300–500 miles before that point. Rotating two pairs slows the decay, because foam recovers between runs.

How often should I replace running shoes?

A common guide is every 300–500 miles, or when the midsole stops feeling springy. Wear patterns matter more than calendar age.

Are they suitable for trail running?

These are road-focused shoes. For trails, see our Pantofi de drumeție.

Can I wash them?

Remove the insoles, wash the uppers by hand with mild soap, and air dry. Machine washing and direct heat break down the foam and adhesives.

If the pain is persistent, getting worse, or you have reduced sensation in your feet, please see a podiatrist or your doctor. Footwear is one part of everyday foot comfort — it is not a treatment.
